What is the new framework to keep novice drivers safe?

Data shows car accidents more likely to kill men than women

Ontario residents may be surprised to learn that, over the last 10 years, twice as many men have died in car accidents than women. According to the data, which was released on March 23, more than 2,300 men were killed while approximately 1,140 women died.

The data was taken between 2005 and 2014. The total number of deaths caused by car collisions within this time span was reported to be 3,504 individuals. Construction site accident kills 2 workers in Ontario

According to authorities, two men died in a construction site accident on March 27 in the High Park neighbourhood in Toronto. Reportedly, the accident occurred following a collapse of scaffolding shortly after 11 a.m.

The two men were contractors working at the site. The site, located on Bloor Street near its intersection with Pacific Avenue, is currently being developed into a condominium complex. Ontario steel company worker killed in forklift accident

An accident at a steel company in Mississauga claimed the life of a male employee, according to reports. The incident, which involved a forklift, occurred around 9:30 a.m. on March 23. Responding to a medical emergency, rescue personnel from Peel Region arrived and declared the 62-year-old employee dead. The medical emergency, however, was actually a work-related accident, a representative for local law enforcement officials stated.

2 motorcyclists injured in 2 collisions, 1 Ontario driver charged

Authorities say that two motorcyclists were injured in different crashes on March 13 in Haldimand County. One of the accidents involved only a motorcyclist crashing at the intersection of Regional Road 70 and St. John’s Road in the afternoon. The unidentified driver was hospitalised with non-life-threatening injuries.
